You can perform an ATM card loopback test on your Linux system by connecting a loopback cable to your ATM card. If you have a fiber based card, simply connect the transmitter and receiver together. In CDRouter 6.5 and earlier an ATM loopback script is available /usr/share/doc/pktsrc/examples/atm-loopback-test. In CDRouter 7.0 and newer this script has been removed from the installation and is instead available here.
Before running the script, you must set the QACAFE_PRODUCT_LICENSE environment variable to either cdrouter or cdr-mp depending on the version of CDRouter that you are running. The script will report if the loopback test passes or fails.
