How do I update my certificates for 802.1x/EAPOL testing?
By default CDRouter uses the root.pem, server.pem, and user*.pem certificates for all 802.1x/EAPOL testing involving certificates. These certificates are located in the following directory on your CDRouter Linux host:
/usr/share/doc/cdrouter
The default EAPOL certificates installed with CDRouter 3.8 or earlier expired November 4, 2007. These certificates can be updated by upgrading to the latest version of CDRouter, available here.
CDRouter 3.8.1 and later include EAPOL certificates that do not expire until July 15, 2021.
