A twist on the basic Ethernet-to-Ethernet test setup involves using wireless on the LAN side. In the basic wireless test setup CDRouter connects to the DUT's LAN interface via IEEE 802.11 a, b, g, or n wireless. This setup requires that a compatible wireless interface be installed in the host system (PCI or USB) and reduces the number of required dedicated Ethernet interfaces from two to one.
CDRouter's wireless client supports most of the common security schemes available today including basic wireless, WEP-64, WEP-128, WPA-PSK (aka WPA Personal), WPA-RADIUS (aka WPA Enterprise), WPA2-PSK (aka WPA2 Personal), and and WPA2-RADIUS (aka WPA2 Enterprise). CDRouter also supports a number of EAPOL and RADIUS options for further customizing the behavior of wireless clients.
