Why am I receiving T1/HDLC CRC errors?

If CDRouter is reporting HDLC CRC errors when trying to read a packet from the T1/E1 interface, it could be an indication that the T1 line configuration of the remote end does not match the current T1 interface configuration.

INFO: 10:16:33| READ ERROR: read error on wp1chdlc T1/HDLC Frame had CRC error
INFO: 10:16:33| Error Info: read error on wp1chdlc T1/HDLC Frame had CRC error

If one or both T1 ends are using Fractional T1/E1 with a mismatched time slot configuration, CDRouter will report read errors when it receives packets from the remote T1 peer. You can use /usr/sbin/wancfg to double check your T1 configuration or /usr/sbin/wanpipemon to look at its current status.
