How do I remove WPA supplicant from my system?

If you are using one of our recommended with the stock ath9k driver module included in Linux kernels 2.6.28 and above, you must remove the kernel's built in WPA supplicant. CDRouter provides its own custom supplicant that is used instead.

On Ubuntu systems, the WPA supplicant can be removed by running the following command as root: 

apt-get remove wpasupplicant
