Can I use a non zero VPI?
You must configure a VPI of 0 when creating the ATM PVC configuration. Most of the ATM drivers supported under Linux do not support a non zero VPI even if the ATM card supports a VPI greater than zero.
ATM cards are specified using a card-number.vpi.vci notation. The second field should always be zero. The card numbers start at 0.
