My acces point or router does not show up with WPA enabled during a wireless scan?
When configuring your device with WPA, some wireless card and driver combinations will not automatically detect changes to the 802.11 beacon frames from the wireless device. When a wireless scan is run on these cards, the router or access point is not reported with WPA capabilities.
When switching to WPA, you should do the following:
- Make sure you have the latest version of DriverLoader from Linuxant.
- Reboot your Linux system
