What do I do if I forget my BuddyWeb password?

If you have forgotten your BuddyWeb password, you may disable password protection with the following steps:

  1. Open a terminal on the system running BuddyWeb
  2. Change to the /usr/buddyweb/etc directory
  3. Delete the passwd file.
  4. Restart your browser and open up BuddyWeb

You should be able to continue using BuddyWeb without a password, or set a new password on the Advanced tab.
