QA Cafe has announced the availability of CDRouter 6.2 with new support for DHCPv6 testing including DHCPv6 prefix delegation. New DHCPv6 related test modules are included as part of the CDRouter IPv6 add-on.
"DHCPv6 prefix delegation is the next step for CDRouter IPv6," stated Joe McEachern, Product Manager at QA Cafe. "The IETF IPv6 Operations working group has been developing a new specification, Basic Requirements for IPv6 Customer Edge Routers, that requires DHCPv6 prefix delegation support for edge routers. We expect all IPv6 CPE devices will adopt this functionality. CDRouter IPv6 will give vendors a head start on the test process."
