PORTSMOUTH, NH -- QA Cafe, a leading provider of router testing solutions, announced that CDRouter-IKE has passed the VPNC’s Basic Interop test for interoperability. The VPNC (Virtual Private Network Consortium) is the international trade association for manufacturers in the VPN market. VPNC certification is awarded to products that successfully interoperate with all other IKE/IPSEC VPN products in the consortium.
CDRouter-IKE is a VPN Gateway test module for the CDRouter™ family of router test products. CDRouter-IKE adds support for testing IKE and IPSEC based VPN routers using the well adopted CDRouter™ test tool.
“We felt VPNC certification was an important next step for CDRouter-IKE,” stated Joe McEachern, QA Cafe Product Manager. “While CDRouter-IKE is a testing platform, we wanted to demonstrate that CDRouter-IKE is also interoperable with all the other major IPSEC implementations in the marketplace. CDRouter-IKE can be used for conformance and functionality testing of VPN gateways, and it also can be used to for establishing VPN tunnels for application testing.”
CDRouter-IKE is available as an add-on feature to CDRouter. The CDRouter family of products is available as a software-only application or preloaded on QA Cafe's CN1200 Test Appliance for a complete turn-key test solution.
