QA Cafe develops industry leading IP test solutions for CPE devices. The QA Cafe product family includes our flagship product CDRouter, a comprehensive library of add-on modules for CDRouter, and the NTA1000 network test appliance. CDRouter is the industry's leading functional verification test tool for CPE devices.
Our CPE testing a la carte
CDRouter includes a powerful protocol engine and test harness capable of simulating a variety of test environments and scenarios. The base CDRouter application also includes a core set of test modules designed to verify a wide range of functionality found in typical CPE implementations.
CDRouter's test coverage can be expanded through a number of feature-packed add-ons that provide support for additional protocols and functionality. All of CDRouter's test cases can be performed on a single test platform without any additional hardware or network components.
With CDRouter you can choose only the add-ons that you are interested in and install new add-ons to your system at any time.
Available Add-ons
CDRouter Multiport
The Multiport add-on provides support for testing multiple LAN and/or WAN interfaces on a single device simultaneously. Features such as wireless-to-wired LAN connectivity and WAN failover can be tested with Multiport.
CDRouter TR-069
The TR-069 add-on module provides support for the Broadband Forum's CPE WAN Management Protocol. This add-on includes an Auto-Configuration Server (ACS) and an extensive set of CWMP test cases including a fully automated version of the Broadband Forum's PD-128 specification.
CDRouter Nmap
The Nmap add-on module provides support for built-in Nmap security and network audit testing. This add-on includes CDRouter's version of Nmap and provides automatic LAN and WAN port scans and OS detection. Find out how your device appears to Namp before its deployed.
CDRouter IPv6
The IPv6 add-on is the newest member of the QA Cafe product family. This add-on provides support for IPv6 and includes a number of test modules targeted specifically at verifying the most common residential IPv6 features found in today's leading dual-stack CPE implementations.
CDRouter Storage
Many of todays CPE gateways and NAS devices offer USB based storage or internal hard drives. CDRouter Storage provides test coverage for network attached storage (NAS). It is designed to test the NAS capabilities of CPE gateways or stand alone NAS devices.
CDRouter IKE
The IKE add-on provides support for IKEv1 based site-to-site VPN tunnels.
The NTA1000
The NTA1000 is a pre-configured high performance network test appliance designed and optimized for CDRouter. The NTA1000 delivers CDRouter in a complete turn-key solution enabling rapid deployment of CDRouter in any test environment.
The NTA1000 arrives loaded with the latest release of CDRouter and any required add-ons. The compact 1U form factor provides six front-panel Gigabit Ethernet ports, an integrated 802.11a/b/g/n wireless adapter, and a PCI expansion slot enabling ATM or T1/E1 interfaces to be installed.
