QA Cafe to moderate premium BBF Connected Home session at Broadband World Forum

Jason Walls from QA Cafe is joining other industry experts for a special session during the “Connected Home Summit” at the upcoming Broadband World Forum 2020 Virtual Event. QA Cafe will moderate and participate in the panel, “Deploying Real User Services in the Connected Home” with Nokia, Verizon, BT, F-Secure, and Domos.

As Broadband World Forum (BBWF) takes the virtual stage, discover more about Broadband Forum and its globally renowned User Services Platform (USP) and how it is revolutionized the Connected Home experience. Chaired by Jason Walls, QA Cafe and Co-Director of Broadband User Services (BUS) Work Area, the discussion will include presentations from F-Secure, DOMOS, Verizon, BT, Nokia and QA Cafe. The virtual webinar will discuss how operators can leverage USP / TR-369 to deploy real user services in the Connected Home. This will discuss how the broadband industry transitioned from TR-069 to USP, and how device management, control and end-user services has drastically improved. Throughout the webinar, the speakers will provide the technical details behind USP and will reveal how it can enable specific use cases and applications. Some of the industry’s hottest talking points will be discussed including Wi-Fi management, and the NOW pain point operators are suffering and how these management solutions are looking to solve this. Also to be addressed is containerization of the CPE and how USP is enabling service providers to partner with 3rd party applications and bring exciting services directly onto customer devices in the Connected Home.
