QA Cafe is based in Portsmouth, NH where we have a passion for our products and workplace culture. We pride ourselves on offering a great work environment with flexible vacation days and work times, volunteer days, and other unique benefits.

QA Cafe experiences very low employee turnover with a number of employees having a long tenure at the company. Our company was started in 2001 by Joe McEachern who is the original creator of our flagship product CDRouter. Our customer list includes brand names in the networking industry including Broadcom, Intel, Qualcomm, Arris, Google, and Cisco.

Sales Development Representative

What you'll do

You will be responsible for promoting the QA Cafe products and solutions with the emphasis on building a strong pipeline of new opportunities through developing and broadening our industry relationships.

More specifically, this includes:

  • Convert prospects into actionable sales opportunities
  • Execute on outbound calling, email, and social touch point models to engage with key stakeholders
  • Articulate the value proposition of our products and create compelling reasons for prospective customers to engage with QA Cafe
  • Add value to prospects by asking questions to understand their business challenges and teeing up our solutions
  • Work collaboratively with QA Cafe’s resources to define the approach and strategy for prospect engagement success
  • Gain and share understanding of prospect’s organization, processes, business strategies, product or service offerings and decision-making structures
  • Communicate the status of opportunities, clearly articulate next steps and discuss potential risks with the wider sales team
  • Learn and maintain an understanding of the networking technology landscape
  • Be cool, active, motivational and supportive in our sales team.

Who you are

While we do not consider ourselves a startup business, you understand and have experience in this type of environment. You must be willing to hunt for new opportunities and be a self-starter. You ideally have the following experience and personal characteristics:

  • At least five (5) years’ experience developing new sales opportunities, preferably at technology focused company.
  • A "can-do" attitude that sees obstacles as challenges to be overcome rather than blockages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be organized, able to work independently, have a positive attitude, and exceptional listening skills.
  • Love of technology and preferably a desire to build a career in technology sales
  • High levels of personal energy, passion and drive
  • Experience using Salesforce as primary CRM
  • An eagerness to learn and continuously improve
  • College degree preferred
